Review: Veet in shower hair removal cream

I mentioned before in my blog post about the Veet hair removal, I tried the product today. You can find the video clip of this product in instagram sherrygo.

The Veet in shower hair removal cream can be used while in shower. It is suitable for normal skin, though I have sensitive skin it has no harm on my skin. It has sponge for use of normal skin and sensitive skin, normal skin for white side, sensitive skin to use soft side.

5 Steps to beautiful touchable smooth skin

1. Do not swallow! Ensure that the total application on the skin does not exceed 6 minutes. Applied the cream evenly onto dry skin using the soft, coloured pink side of the dry sponge * that's what I did* Ensure the hair you want to remove is complete covered with cream. DO NOT RUB IN, wash hands thoroughly.
2. Once applied, wait at least 1 minute before stepping in into shower. *I would suggest to wait least 3-6 min for better result of hair removal.*
3. Whilst in the shower continue with your normal shower routine. Don't worry if some cream gradually washes away when in contact with running water. To prevent cream from washing off too soon, avoid exposing those parts of the body covered with cream to the direct stream of water within first 2 minutes in the shower. *I put the cream on my legs so it's unavoidable not to have them wet*
4. After the cream has been in contact with your skin for a total of 3 minutes, gently use the white side of the sponge to test a small area. *I find the white side is rough for me, I prefer soft side to use*. If hair comes away easily, remove the remaining traces of cream with the white side of the sponge by massaging in circular motion. *I have stubborn hair so I need to leave the cream a little longer next time before shower but not exceeding 6 minutes of total application time! 
5. Rinse your skin thoroughly under the shower after use. Rinse the sponge, keep tube closed when not in use. Sponge can be use again for next application. 

Above picture I took photos of my legs before applying the Veet removal cream. With the sponge I choose the soft side to use instead of the rough side.

Though I find that it works removing 70% of my legs hair after tried this product twice today. One in the afternoon, another in the evening. It's not 100% hair removal for me. I haven't been using Veet cream for sometimes.

Veet Easy Grip lasted for thrice

Yeah I have officially finished using the Veet Easy Grip wax strips, yeah a box of it finished. You can check out my review on first time, second time and this is my third time. :D

I need to thank my son for helping me to pull the strips off my legs. :D

I placed the strips on my legs, yeah hair on my legs are growing uneven. :(

It is worth to buy product if you like quick and easy way to have smooth legs. :D

Second time using VEET EasyGrip Wax Strips

It is my second time using the Veet Easy Grip Wax Strips, yeah now still left three pieces of them. Yeah I have my son to help me to pull it off for me. Remember it is better to pull it off fast less pain!

No pain, No gain!

I blogged before about the left over hair on legs, yeah it grew longer that's why I need to use the wax strips today.

Review:Veet EasyGrip Ready-to-use Wax Strips

It is my first time to use Veet EasyGrip Read-to-Use Wax Strips, the box contained of 20 wax strips plus 4 Perfect Finish Wipes.

 

Last night I decided to give this product a try, I usually shave my legs. My first time using the wax strips, and my son's next to me helping me. Can you guess what he does to help me? He even told me that he wants to try this product. LOL

This is shea butter and berry fragrance for normal skin, yeah it smells very good! I left only 5 wax strips, the rest I used on my both legs.

If you are lazy to shave and worry of the cuts, you can give this product a try! Yeah you need someone that has good will to pull the strips! I have my son to help me, he pulled really fast.

How to use the product?
1. Rub the wax strip betwen your hands to warm the wax.
2. Holding the EasyGrip tab, slowly peel the strips apart.
3. Apply the strip with the EasyGrip tab towards the ankle and rub the strip repeatedly in the direction of hair growth.
4. Holding the EasyGrip tab, pull the strip back on itself very quickly and in 1 swift motion, keeping the strip as close to the skin as possible. Hold the skin taut to avoid discomfort.

Advantage of using this product, fast and easy but I don't like the sticky feeling of after used. Yeah even using the Perfect Finish Wipes, I still feel my legs sticky! Yeah still got a few hair strains on my legs, lol.. you need to aim correctly when stick the wax strips!
